What Does This Course Include?
There are six sessions to this Online Immersion course, themed on the inner seasons:

- Spring
- Summer
- Autumn
- Thank You
Each section includes:
- Written content, where the course material is introduced and summarised
- A video conversation where that material is explored in more depth
- An audio recording of a yoga nidra practice pertinent to the material
- A practice video pertinent to the material (in the four seasonal sessions)
- Further reading
- Enquiries for you to reflect upon

You also get access to a zoom meeting with the course tutors (Uma and/or Sivani Mata). In this session you are invited to join us for a greeting circle, mudra meditation and time to ask questions and share experience with other sisters journeying with the immersion. Zoom circles are offered in alignment with the Celtic cross-quarter festivals: Imbolc, Beltane, Lammas and Samhain.
Your first zoom circle is free, the others are available to purchase for £18.
What else do I need to know?
The course is approximately twelve hours worth of material, however, the pace at which you work through the course is completely up to you – there are pros and cons for both an immersive and a slow-and-steady approach.
All the practices in this immersion experience have been developed since 1998 by yoga therapist Uma Dinsmore-Tuli PhD and are described in her book Yoni Shakti. Uma shares these practices in this online immersion course with her long-standing teaching colleague Sivani Mata Francis, artist and bhakti yogini. Sivani Mata and Uma’s conversations are the heart of this immersion experience, and Sivani Mata’s drawings illustrate the course material.
If you have already done the in person Well Woman Yoga (Womb Yoga) Therapy Training and wondering what the difference between that and this online immersion, and whether you would benefit from it, please see here for a discussion on the differences.

Testimonial
"I completed the Yoni Shakti Well Woman Yoga Therapy immersion in 2021. I'm now in the current well woman yoga therapy online course. Before the course, I had no clue how to even track my cycle. We were held and guided at our own pace throughout our cycle which you can repeat and follow along as many times as you wish with the content always there.
The wisdom I received about the ‘inner seasons’ of the cycle was life changing. I had never realised that there was an ‘autumn’ - and certainly as a result never felt the ‘preparedness’ that can come in honouring this natural slowing down of the body as the bleed arrives. The facets of ‘appropriateness’ due to movement during the cycle and in relation to a woman’s body have been a beautiful inquiry. It made me mad that no one had ever mentioned these things to me in so many years of public yoga classes. The honouring of the menstrual blood was particularly resonant with me as well."
