YONI SHAKTI CYCLITERATE REMATRIATION (un-training)
An 8-week live, online deep dive with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli.
Welcome Home to Your Self: you have arrived in exactly the right place at exactly the right time.
The YONI SHAKTI CYCLITERATE REMATRIATION UN-TRAINING gives you the keys to power and freedom.
This is an intense, extraordinary and liberating UN-training rooted in deep restfulness. It restores you to wholeness. It welcomes you home to the rhythmic cycles of your resting self.
The YONI SHAKTI CYCLITERATE REMATRIATION UN-TRAINING enables you to recognise, confront and dismantle the limitations that disconnect you from Source, so that you can reclaim your wholeness and power, and help others to do the same.
The Cycliterate experience offers you a reconnection to your intuition and embodied knowledge, a restoration of pelvic energies, menstrual and peri/menopausal health.
This course restores your capacity to draw from the regenerative wellspring of your own deeply rested vitality, through a delicious reclamation of pleasure and understanding of the links between fertility, Cycliteracy, restfulness and wellness, for life long vibrant health, through every stage of experience.
What is Rematriation?
Rematriation literally means a sacred return of our bodies to the land, to earth and ancestors. It is a surrender to a deeper wisdom, a conscious, embodied decolonisation, a reclamation of our intuitive embodied wisdom that has been occupied and demeaned by patriarchal empire. Rematriation is an experience of claiming this Land Back: dismantling the barriers of internal misogyny, shame and self-hatred so that we may re-embrace the land of our body wisdom and intuitive, cyclical knowing.
What is Cycliteracy?
Cycliteracy is a deep and respective connection to the rhythm of life, in our body’s life cycles, in the lunar phases and solar dances, in the seasonal shifts and in the cyclical patterns of our own creativity, sexuality, vitality and community.
Rematriation is Cycliterate: for once we reconnect to the cyclical wisdom within, we feel the pull to respect the natural seasons and cycles of the wider world.
Who is this Yoni Shakti Cycliterate
Rematriation UN-training for?
Dear One,
- Do you ever feel disconnected from your source power? Do you ever feel like you are going mad?
- Do you feel the call to reconnect to your intuition, to your vitality, your creative power and your dreams?
- Do you feel like your menstrual cycle or your peri/menopause is ruining your life?
- Do you feel out of sync with the cycles of life and earth, or wish to feel a deeper connection to the power of life?
- Do you yearn to rediscover a natural vibrant connection to your ancestors, to the land, and to a community of loving hearts around the world?
- Do you wish to welcome within you the feminine power that is uprising at this moment in the evolution of our species, as the deepest and most ancient feminine wisdom is upsurging – do you want to feel part of all of this?
- Do you wish to integrate this embodied knowledge, restore your rhythmic cycles of well-being, and rest in a sacred circle of dreamers for personal and planetary healing?
- Do you feel ready to step into freedom and power?
- Do you want to feel confident to support others to make that step too?
Then this un-training is for you.
The Call
Please stop trying to do this alone.
Step inside, join the course, and make yourself at home in our Online Learning Sanctuary, so that you can benefit from the community circles that hold this learning.
Inside the grinding machinery of imperial capitalism, simply stopping in our separate struggles carries voltage.
To Rematriate requires first that we stop operating as if we were separate from everybody around us. We embody change by refusing isolation and exhaustion as identity, so we can step out of a story that our worth is measured by output through singular struggle.
To step into this Yoni Shakti Cycliteracy Rematriation UN-training is a powerful, individual choice that brings you into belonging: being part of a collective dedicated to rematriation as restful resistance.
I am bringing decades of devotion to this moment. My call to you is simple and seismic. To rematriate. To return to the loving wisdom of the body’s ancient pace. To trust intuition over relentless rational control. To feel the land of your own body as sovereign territory. And, from the place of your restedness and reconnection, to share with others this freedom.
In this Yoni Shakti Cycliteracy Rematriation UN-training, we grow together. Across time zones. Across continents. A field of women and allies choosing restful being and connection and mutual support at the same hour. Listening inward. Dreaming collectively. Restoring rhythmic cycles in our own nervous systems and in the wider body of the Earth. Supporting ourselves so that we can support others in our community.
When you step inside the Yoni Shakti Cycliteracy Rematriation UN-training, you interrupt the trance of struggling and create space for creativity and instinct to rise. This is not indulgence.
The Yoni Shakti Cycliteracy Rematriation UN-training is both a restoration and a re-vitalisation.
It is a remembering that your work, like your life, moves in waves and seasons.
Bring a blanket. Bring your breath. Bring your beautiful tired body and the loving guide of your intuitive knowing. Let the shakti circles and the Online Learning Sanctuary of the Yoni Shakti Cycliteracy Rematriation UN-training hold you.
Come be nourished and grow together with us . Witness in your own body and soul what becomes possible – what shifts happen in how you inhabit your body in all five dimensions, what changes arise in how you relate to yourself. Feel how it is to dignify and celebrate the places that you were ashamed of, reclaiming wisdom you thought was madness.
What you will experience
An experience of coming home to yourself.
A true sense of being at ease in the rhythms of your body.
A renewed trust in the wise cycles of your energy, vitality and emotions.
A shift in vitality, a sense of reconnection to your intuition, dreams and hopes.
A sense of belonging and joyful community that brings a physical confidence to your daily experience.
When you complete this course, this ‘un-training’, then your perspectives will shift, you will have a more complete understanding of how everything joins up.
You will come home to a clearer sense of your place in the whole
- as a Rematriated Cyclical, Cycliterate being.
Tone of this journey
This is a down to earth, radical breath of fresh air. It’s a no-bullshit approach, deeply compassionate and a bit rude. It is actively encouraging of unpoliced authenticity and vulgarity in the service of your complete freedom to be yourself. It is joyful, humorous, shocking and profoundly decolonial, it is de-neuro-colonising. It is loving, welcoming and warm.
This course is for you dear one:
- if you are a yoni owner, or woman who grew up as a little girl under imperial patriarchy. Gender expansive, transgender and non-binary yoni owners are all welcome in this circle.
- if you have read (some or all) of Yoni Shakti and want direct experience of all the practices and philosophies in the book – or if you have wanted to read the book but feel a bit intimidated by how big it is. This experience is the way to make real, embodied sense out of everything in Yoni Shakti.
- if you would like to be taken by the hand of the author, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, and lead with love through the whole of Yoni Shakti, chapter by chapter, showing how to practice, and integrate all that she shares in the book.
- if you have ever been in a yoga class and wondered why it feels as if what you are being asked to do makes no sense in your body - this is for you.
- if you would like to step onto the pathway to support you to share this work in your community this course is a prerequisite for entering The Nest, Uma’s nine month mentoring container for facilitators
This is a reclamation and honouring of the ancient roots of cyclical living and yoga therapy in service to the power of life in you.
This course is not for you if:
- You identify as a woman or girl, but do not have a yoni: because of the anatomical nature of our explorations, the course content will not be relevant to you.
-
You feel uncomfortable around straightforward language such as the word ‘cunt’, or the use of expletives for emphasis. The language used in the course may be unpoliced and vulgar.
Why This Matters Now
Humanity is in a polycrisis. The collective nervous system is in a state of constant terror, shock and despair. We are, as a species, increasingly exhausted, disconnected and misinformed about the Cycliterate wisdom of our own bodies.
We are struggling to live on a planet that has been exploited for profit, just like the bodies of female humans have been exploited and controlled.
It has never been more important for women and girls to recognise the terrible cost of our disconnection from ourselves and our planet, and to take back our power.
It has never been more urgent for us to understand how we, like the land upon which we live, have been disrespected and abused under imperial patriarchy.
It has never been more crucial for us to recognise how we have internalised disrespect for our bodies, ourselves, our Earth, our intuition, and the more than human realm.
It has never been more vital that we see through the systems of oppression that cut us off from our own well-being, and separate us from others and from the Earth,
Now is the time to see the massive gaps in mainstream healthcare that women’s health falls between – and to reclaim our wholeness and health for ourselves and for our communities and for our land. This is our freedom: each one of us, and as a collective, for humans and the more than human realm.
Now is the moment to reclaim the power and step into freedom, leading ourselves and others to a collective liberation which is interconnected.
Now is the time to grasp the keys to freedom and power, open the doors of the misogynist cages in which we have been trapped, and to share this liberation with the women and girls and yoni owners in your life, with your family, friends, clients and students.
These are the methods of teaching in each module:
Six Intuitive Healing Arts
Radical Acts of Restfulness
You learn through rest and reconnection. Total Yoga Nidra is the start of every module. Known as the yoga of sleep, Total Yoga Nidra is a guided and responsive practice that facilitates conscious sacred rest. This profound relaxation technique helps you reconnect with your inner guidance and intuition, offering healing, deep mental and emotional restoration. Please note that this is not a training in how to teach yoga nidra.
Yoni Shakti Yoga
Gentle, rhythmic movements and therapeutic yoga practices designed to nurture the female body. These movements promote ease, strength, and comfort, helping you awaken and harmonise your vital feminine energy.
Rituals of Rematriation
Honouring of the Earth, ancestors, and the Great Wisdom Goddesses. By integrating Rematriation into your practice, you contribute to collective healing and justice, aligning with the cycles of nature and spirituality. As a part of this we include devotions though bhakti song and kirtan.
Cycliteracy: Cyclical Wisdom
Focuses on aligning your practice with the rhythms of your life cycles, including menstruation, menopause, and seasonal changes. This approach fosters harmony with the lunar and seasonal cycles, supporting your overall well-being as you remember how to become a cycliterate being.
Sangha: Community
The practice of building a supportive community through circle time. This space allows for sharing, connection, and mutual support, enhancing your sense of belonging and collective healing.
Reconnection to Intuition
Everything that is shared, and the way it is presented, cultivates a renewed respect for your own intuition, to help you grow in your capacity to take authentic agency, to know in your bones and blood, what is best for you at each cycle of your life.
Five Fundamental Principles of
Embodied Wisdom
Rematriated Teaching Methods
We are walking the talk so you can live this wisdom: this course is not just about cyclical wisdom - the course is a cyclical experience. Your life cycles are the structure of this course.
All teachings and learning are clearly held in a six part rematriated framework evolved over thirty years, presented in Yoni Shakti (the book), and designed to match the needs of cyclical bodies.
This Cycliterate training retreat is taught through stories, sharing and experiential learning by doing and by resting. We share wisdom through experiential anatomy, small shakti circles for connection and advocacy for intuition; yoga nidra for deep rest to recover your embodied wisdom, and bhakti (devotion) to rediscover your heartfelt connection to the pulse of life, and to the flow of the life force energy through you in every cycle and season of your life. Cycliteracy is a life long project that extends throughout our lives. It did not start with menstruation and it does not stop at menopause.
This is not linear learning.
We circle around again and again into the cycles of life,
exploring each stage from different perspectives each time.
Female Siddhis
A siddhi is a spiritual superpower rooted in conscious awareness, and the female siddhis are:
Menarche (first menstrual bleed),
Menstrual cycle awareness,
Sexuality and creativity, our cycles of orgasmic and creative pleasures
Fertility, Conception and Pregnancy
Pregnancy losses and terminations (the presence of life and death in the womb)
Labour and Childbirth of every form
Lactation
Peri-menopause and the journey to post-menopausal wisdom
You may have been taught that the initiatory cyclical experiences that arise in female bodies are a burden when in fact, they are actually superpowers (siddhis). The Rematriation enables you to transform your lived relationship with the initiations into power which you were taught to believe required medicating or eradicating. To live as a Cycliterate being is to encounter a deep freedom by becoming conscious of these female ‘siddhis’ (Superpowers) as initiations into power (Yoni Shakti Chapter 8).
Five Bodies in One
You do not have simply one body - you have five. Everything shared in this course is experienced as a multidimensional practice that integrates all five dimensions of being: the physical body, the energy body, the mental and emotional body, the intuitive body of wisdom, and the causal body. Experiencing awareness in all five ‘bodies’ is a fundamental part of remembering our Source Power.
Physical body (earth: Annamaya Kosha)
Energy Body (water: Pranamaya Kosha)
Mental and Emotional Body (fire: Manomaya Kosha)
Intuitive Wisdom Body (air: Vigyanomaya Kosha)
Unending dance of cosmic bliss body (space: Ananda Maya Kosha)

Ayurvedic Elemental
Principles in Action
We inhabit a microcosm - our bodies are made of the elements that make up the whole universe. Maintaining a healthful balance between these elements is the basis of Ayurveda. And Ayurveda is the triplet sister of yoga and tantra. Three legs to the same stool. The same elemental philosophic understanding underpins all of them. This elemental understanding is fully integrated in all the practices of Yoni Shakti yoga.

Course Structure & Commitment
This course is a blend of self-led online study and live, online sessions.
To receive the full benefit of the course, you will need to engage with both elements each week.
Navigating the Online Learning Sanctuary
The doors to the Online Learning Sanctuary open the moment you enrol.
You can move through the introductory material at your own pace.
From there, we begin to move together, following each module in rhythm with the group and the weekly live sessions.
Content is released gradually, in alignment with what has come before and what we will explore together each week. This gentle structure supports continuity and a shared journey.
Each week, you are required to engage with the materials before we meet. This includes around 4 hours of self-study (watching, reading and practising), in addition to the live sessions.
This preparation ensures you arrive to each session feeling ready, resourced, and able to participate fully.
Rhythm of Learning
To reduce overwhelm, we recommend setting aside small, regular periods of time across the week, rather than trying to complete everything at once.
Many participants find it supportive to spend around 30-60 minutes before / after each live session engaging with the relevant materials.
This allows you to bring your reflections and questions into the live space, where they can be explored in community and with Uma’s guidance.
Time Commitment
Self-study: approximately 4 hours per week.
Live sessions: 3 hours per week (two 90-minute sessions.)
Live Online Sessions: When and Where
This is a fully online, 8-week deep dive, held live on Zoom.
We begin together at the Witches’ New Year, Samhain, and meet twice weekly until Yule.

Uma Dinsmore-Tuli is an Author, Whistleblower and Advocate for Intuition, Creativity and Rematriation.
For over thirty years, she has been sharing the work of cyclical wisdom, yoga nidrā, yoga therapy and radical truth speaking. As a neuro-divergent, post-menopausal writer, mother and carer, her work is neurodiverse friendly, trauma-informed and body-positive.
Uma was first introduced to yoga in London 1969 by her Dublin-born mother, and has been practising ever since. She has been teaching therapeutic yoga since 1986 and co-founded the Yoga Nidra Network in 2011, guiding thousands back into the intelligence of deep rest. A member of the International Association of Yoga therapists for over twenty-five years, Uma has been training teachers for nearly thirty years. She has trained thousands of specialist yoga therapists in yoga for women’s health and Total Yoga Nidra.
She began her devotional and prayerful journey as a pilgrim in 1974, when she was brought to the shrine of the Holy Mother at Fatima by her maternal grandmother. Her practice and teaching of yoga and tantra are the foundations of her life as a mother of three and a carer for four elders with many life limiting health conditions.
Uma holds a PhD in Communications from Goldsmiths’ College, University of London, and two diplomas in yoga therapy. Her trauma informed approach to yoga nidra and yoni shakti yoga is rooted in lived experience of sharing this work with hundreds of people at home and abroad, in person and online, individually and in community.
As a post-menopausal woman with ADHD, and a mother to autistic children with a variety of neuro-spiciness, Uma’s approach to teaching and learning is neuro-diverse friendly.
Uma is mentored and supported by a wide range of elders and wise women, bringing a depth of knowing to this work that is unique in the field. As a whistleblower and activist, she is willing to speak the truth even if she ends up in trouble because of it. Check out her contribution to Twisted Yoga and the Yoni Shakti: The Movement campaign to eradicate the abuse of women in yoga that she founded in 2020.
Author of six books, including Nidra Shakti : An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Yoga Nidra (2024), Yoga Nidra Made Easy (2022), co-author of The Celtic School of Yoga (2016) and and Yoni Shakti (2014/ 2020); Uma’s writing integrates scholarship, mysticism and inter-sectional eco-feminist activism. She wrote the textbooks that others use in their courses. This course is the place for you to come to the source of the wisdom Uma shares so that you can learn and be nurtured by it.
What if?
You may have many questions about this course, we have some answers for your queries:
What if I am perimenopausal?
Then the cyclical restfulness and small Shakti circles in our online meetings will soothe and nourish your nervous system and reassure you that you are not alone.
What if I have trauma?
Then the trauma-informed, compassionate and loving space of the online meetings will hold space for you to navigate your responses, always at your own pace.
What if I am new to yoga?
Then you will find that this approach provides a perfect and authentic introduction to a way of practice that nourishes your body and soul.
What if I am not a yoga teacher?
Then you are in good company. Many of the people in the course do not have formal qualifications in yoga. It is not necessary to be a yoga teacher to do this course. Over the years, we have found that people coming from other routes often discover that what is shared fits beautifully within their own modalities. Massage therapists, doulas, midwives, post-partum carers, physiotherapists, physical therapists, counsellors, psychotherapists, and teachers of Pilates, dance and other movement practices all find that this course nurtures their own offerings for their community.
What if I don’t have time?
If you are feeling pushed for time, then you will likely discover that making the space in your day to commit to this course could feel challenging at first.
But then the magic happens.
If you can find the hour you need for these 8 weeks, you will likely feel that the gift of time you give yourself enables you to feel more spacious in your life.
If you can commit to including the restful being and community connection on this course, you will likely discover that this actually seems to give you more time to study and to remember.
Often, the busiest people are the ones who find how much the course means to them. Making space for restful being and rematriation can have a powerful impact.
Making space for yourself to do this course can help you to reprioritise what truly nourishes you in your life.
Making time for Yoni Shakti helps you make more time for yourself, your growth and your wellbeing.
What if I haven’t read that enormous fucking book?
Yoni Shakti is a big book. She contains multitudes.
If you feel overwhelmed — by love or by fear, or just by the size of Yoni Shakti — then this is the course for you.
This is like having the author, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, take you by the hand and lead you through the whole of Yoni Shakti, chapter by chapter, showing how to practise and integrate all that she shares in the book.

Kate Codrington Menopause Facilitator, Speaker & Author
My name is Kate Codrington, and I’m the author of Second Spring and the Perimenopause Journal. I’m a facilitator and speaker with a focus on menopause and ageing and have been a therapist for more than 30 years.
I did the Yoni Shakti course in 2014 in London because I wanted to bring more movement to my offerings and I wanted to do that in a safe and trauma informed way.
While I was doing the course I was inspired by the possibilities for changing the experience of being in a female body by caring for the cycles.
When I finished I felt empowered to offer a safe container for my people to find their own movement that would satisfy their hearts and wombs.
What I valued most was that both the Yogic philosophy, the physiology and the practices were woven together in a digestible way. For someone that struggles to learn on someone else’s time-frame, it was really do-able and nourishing. The course also attracts a brilliant crew of like-minded people some of whom I’m still friends with a decade later.
Doing this course gave me a great delight in my own seasonal-based movement practice, and confidence to bring a wider range of movement possibilities to my clients and retreats, and permission for them to find their own way to what suited them best.
If you were considering doing this course, I would recommend you dive in. Alongside the learning, you’ll likely deepen your connection with your body and this will spread in ripples through your community. We need more embodied people!!
If you feel the call to step into this work, you are warmly invited to join us.
This is a shared, committed journey, one that asks for your presence, your time, and your willingness to engage.
In return, it offers depth, connection, and a way of being that can continue to unfold long after the course has ended.
We begin at Samhain and move together through to Yule.
Spaces are limited to support the depth of the group experience.
Enrolment is now open.
PRE-REQUISITE
You must have completed the pre-requisite Yoni Shakti: Well Woman Yoga Therapy Immersion before beginning this course.
INVESTMENT
This is your investment in your freedom, and the liberation of your community.
This is your investment in embodied education: it is not content consumption.
This is an investment in your well being and remembered power.
It is a unique offering, with no comparable alternatives:
It is a precious sanctuary of learning to remember and reconnect, to restore your rhythmic cycles and step with renewed power and confidence back into the world.
You can not only grow in your own confidence, but support others to rematriate and grow in their own wisdom too.
